Sunlight on brown hair
the beauty of her stare
the way she would just sit with me
how wonderful her laughter of glee
I love her so
for her I owe
my smile and the sunshine outside
She taught me well
her pride would swell
when she knew that I had done good
I miss her more
every day
but I know I carry her in my heart
She is my mother
the matriarch
whom will show us the way
