TRIOLET TO-DO TODAY
I just don't get it.
Perhaps I am delayed.
I just don't get it.
A five-chore list I've made.
I just don't get it.
The edges, they are frayed.
I just don't get it.
My focus, it has strayed.
I just don't get it . . . done.
(A triolet is a poem with five unique lines, as one line is repeated five times. A triolet need not rhyme, but this one adds both rhyme and meter for fun.)

CLARITY
If I could see the stars
I would listen closely
To also hear the celestial beat of angels' wings.
I would stand in
by Holly M.
I need to clear my head
Lay down in my bed
Because I want to write something brilliant
And this something really isn't
So I
by Rachel Couch
Come to me Clarity

Seems
by Adam Smith

Like the veil has been lifted from my eyes
And what do I see?
Much to my surprise
It is you
Whom
CLARITY
I have been engulfed in flames of suffering
Again and again,
And come out whole.
I am forged steel,
Stronger
