DOES PORNOGRAPHY CAUSE RAPE?

To simply answer this question NO pornography does not causes rape. Ignorant people cause rape, and their selfishness to satisfy their sexual urges. Porn gets a bad rape and is so hated on for varies reasons people give. I would never participate in making a pornography film, but must admit I have watched them with my husband.

I do not feel there is any harm in watching the films just as there is no harm in having sex with someone when it is consensual. To just say pornography causes rape is a stupid and ignorant statement. It takes a very unstable person to commit a hideous act against someone else.

Just because someone is watching a porn film does not mean they are going to go out and rape someone. I have always been on the other side of this when talking when friends about porn. They are so against their husbands watching porn and think it is the most disgusting thing in the world.

I have always felt that it is just an adult movie and if someone including my own husband, wants to watch it then they are free to do so. Of course he hides it from our children and they have absolutely no access to the films. Some may be saying well if porn is not wrong, why do you have to hide it?

Here it is, just because it is not wrong children are simply to young to be exposed to adult movies. Just as you would not take part in intercourse in front of your child, you should not watch porn in front of them. Some things are just for adults and not for children, that does not mean it is wrong at all.

Some people do have a fetish with porn and may tend to over watch it but that does not mean they are rapist either. In some cases it can be very healthy and good for a relationship. My husband and I watch it together at times and then it makes us want to have sex with each other not go out and rape anyone.

It can increase your sexual life with your partner and there is nothing wrong with that in any way. If you are against porn and they mere sound of the word "PORN" makes your skin crawl, then just don't watch it. Don't place labels on people because you are against something, because then people can place labels on you as well.

There are things in life you are going to love and things you are going to hate, but remember judging others is never alright.

What causes rape is a person and not a movie, and that's the bottom line!
