BABY BOOMERS
We are real, all of us are great
Some of us are fellows
But most of us are gals
We are here
Spreadout amongst the states
Some of us are single
But most of us have mates
We played football,softball,
And attended proms
We played the piano,guitar
Organ and drums
We cheered,we cried
We loved,some died
Our teen years were wholesome
Carefree and sublime
We cramed for exams
And always came in on time
We moved on to Colleges,
Academies,and Universities
We became Lawyers,Doctors,
And leaders of Varsities
Some are still learning,
Guiding,and preaching
Others leading the future,
By opening doors and teaching
We are the Baby Boomers
All grown up
Mature,older,wiser
And such
Some are grandparents
Others are not
Some are still happy
By pushing thier luck
Our lives have been touched
By wars,death,and desease
But all of us were blessed
By simply living the dream
We were young
Not so long ago
Beautiful,pretty,and handsome
We're still here today
As leaders,parents,and friends
In abundance

dead leaves under our feet
Will be compost for next year's plants
A circle never ending
But were did

Cycles of life,
Birth- the start of spring.
The world a-ring
With birds singing.
Enveloped in the happy sound.
Plants and
