Oh mole why won't you go away
You rub me the wrong way
In the most conspicuous spot
No air you get sweaty hot
Yet you still grow
Even as your benign surface will show
A beauty mark to bestow?
Some flowers also grow in dank conditions
Acclimatizing coming to fruition
Preferring shade to sunlight
And even the darkness of night
Reaching toward the moon
Petals ripening with the monsoon
Coveting nutrients at noon.
Life grows in humidity
Flourishing in warm fluidity
The biosphere a petri dome
Where organisms can freely roam
Going through many life stages
Relishing metamorphosis phases
Fluttering about in its ancestor's mazes.
Rain forest is for-us
Shading cooling from dawn to dusk
Moisture cools the skin
Letting us breathe from within
Needing water to sieve
Natural Elements from man's Eve
Caressing nature's motif.

THE RAINFOREST
What was the rainforest, what does it mean?
Is it a forest of water and rain?
How does one harvest the wood
by Lilly Mantra
Water droplets beading up,
Mist slowly merging with heat,
Ground so moist and soft,
Aroma, fresh and sweet.
Wondrous natural
by C F Tinney
So much life densely packed in
like no other land we know
From the hungry sloth above
to the bullet ants below
You can trace
The scream of a bird high above,
A branch creaks, leaves fall, the flutter of feathers
The smell, scent of leaves and moss
by Kendra Allen
THE RAINFOREST
Breathe deep, primeval canopy,
And cleanse the air of our excess
As preordained in eons past
To heal the wounds
