There is nothing stronger than the love between a father and a daughter,from the time she is born until that day comes she is moving out on her own. A father should cherish every moment spent with his daughter for there is no greater gift than having a child whether it be a boy or a girl you should love them both the same.

Raising a child is no easy task BOY or GIRL,sometimes men are put in a category of saying;(I HOPE IT'S A BOY) but in all reality i have never seen a father not proud to have a daughter and a best friend the rest of his life.

Fathers should be very active in their daughters growing up years this is the time to bond with her and be there for her as she goes thru this time period in her life, Communication,Trust,and the most important (LOVE) this is the key to a great relationship with your daughter. Fathers should take time to talk to their daughters and be there for them to talk to.

There are several trials a girl goes thru in her growing up years,sometimes mom is easier to talk to about things and same goes for dad so by getting involved in your daughters life is most important and there is no better way than some good long heart to heart talks.

A father should be his daughters best friend,go to a concert with her,take her to the movies,take her on a one and one weekend camping trip,teach her how to fish and hunt all these things whether it be a loud night at a concert or a quiet night by the camp fire brings you closer together as father and daughter and also friends.

As a girl grows and is getting older dad tends to get a little more protective,this is where trust comes into play. Her first date,having a boy friend,boy's calling her ,this is where dad should trust her by talking to and knowing who his daughter really is, trust her judgment, in other words loosen up on the reins a little and let her grow-up,this is hard for a father to do,watching his little girl become a young women.

When your a father you are a father for life it's not just until they turn 18 years old, it's forever. I have two very lovely children of my own a son and a daughter,my daughter is 26 years old and my son is 25. I know by experience by loving,laughing,and being close to my children is one of the most important things in my life.

The best things a father can do during his daughters growing up years is simply love her for who she is not what you want her to be.
