I am an ant trying to gather a crumb
keeping to myself often feeling numb
some days are smooth and full of wealth
others I avoid the ant bully with great stealth
he comes for me on those bad days
tormenting me in different ways
when I see him I get troubled
I'm heated and pain is doubled
someone please help me fast
for I feel my body some days wont last
this is life dropped to a smaller scale
will I find a crumb or will I fail
whatever happens I know I'm fine
dragging my future so strong in mind
I will build a home a hill so great
show some love careful not to hate
there are times when I bite right through
others I'm panicked and pondering what to do
how do we tame the ant bully of the world
that madness we find from a days tilled
its OK, I will dredge about
don't fear though when I tend to shout
let me go and in the end
I will hug you and call my friend
