Why take your small business online?

What you really want to know if you're having questions as to whether or not to take your business on-line is truly quite simple. First let you a story. In 1965 there was a man who quite his job and it was a good one. In fact one of the very good ones of the day. He worked in the advertising section of a very big national company. He was sick and tired of the oppression, censure and open and out control the company had over his life through his job. So he walked out.

As the story goes he then walked up to the corner took off his suite jacket swung it over his head and declared his freedom. Then a sign caught is eye a couple of blocks away. It was a for rent sign on a small office building about four stories tall and the price was right so he took it. Ten years later there were more than five hundred other advertising companies on that same street and his company was fast catching up to the national company he had quit in both income and market value. And that happened at the corner of Wall street and Madison Ave., this is fact. As you have probably heard now Madison Ave. handles more money than Wall Street. To this day there are people that do understand the success of the advertising business but it can be explained.

As early as the twenties it was learned or better understood that if you get the word out the buyers will come. And with this a new world of money was born. Before this a man did an honest days pay for an honest days work and this would have been considered unacceptable. Yet with the advent of radio this was already becoming popular with businesses and grew with the ever increasing size of the companies of the thirties and forties when major industries openly competed via radio advertising but big business greedily controlled the secret of their new advertising promotions and that was simple since they were thought up in an internal department and of course all rights also belonged to the company.

Now we come to the fifties and the new found discovery by scientist of the universality and in truth requirement of the forth dimension in the world and just about everything going back to Benjamin Franklin's kite and so the better known phenomenon called 'ground' which already seemingly runs the entire world via it's being the basis for handling electricity becomes monster {big} in the minds of the people. So now expand to the world of business and it allows an understanding to come about of exactly how advertising did it's thing.

This is a simple equation or formula and you may or may not understand but give it a while and let it sink in. Well here it is! There is this business owner who's thinking of how to increase his businesses profits and thanks the computer era's science platform was this revelation was available and according to statistical and logistical math his business was squarely into the forth dimension for it's financial and economic return but tho it's returns were ground it's forth dimensional existence it was by no means limited to it. In other words if he only could reach beyond his mere personal limits he would make those sales and the money from them too. And in fact this is what advertising does. The facts state that if a statistical sum is made in the forth-dimension then and identical sum will be made any other or second forth-dimension suddenly the potential of exposing his business to the world outside his reach was all but academic, you see there are hundreds of secondary Fourths in every major city and untold thousands or tens of thousands in the 'world'. This is of course the WWW.

And of course there is competition but this technically does not affect this scientific revelation at all. And will eventually apply only in the thing called 'comparative analysis'. Which is exactly that how his business compares to the competition not how much it makes. Yes this does matter someday but let's not move on quit yet. So he gets his new source of income and as it seems can only go on for even more and yet more with proper investment and guidance in this new realm.
Can you see what all means to the small business. The ability to make more with very little change of it's present practices or policies and all for very little investment the greatest being to learn computers or hire someone that does already know them in house or even on-line! Yes you can be just familiar but hire an adviser. What you really have to do is get to deal with the volume of new sales. Oh yes advertising will now again inter the equation is very reasonable too.
