This is a perfect opportunity, to share some insights with the people of this amazing world. Fifteen minutes? It may not seem like much time, but an opportunity like this may never come my way again! It is time for each and every one of us to accept responsibility for the mess our world is in. Let's work together and make a difference!
We have the power to change the world, one day, one kind word at a time. It seems that we have forgotten what an incredible place we have been given, to live our lives in.
The best place to start is in our homes and within our own families. Let's speak respectfully to one another, parents to children, children to parents. When we leave our homes and venture out into our neighborhoods, we need to stop, and say hello.
Speaking of home and children; the truth is, this is where is all begins. The most important lesson we can teach our children is, respect. This will benefit them in every aspect of their lives. If we respect our teachers, peers, and the laws that have been set before us, there will be an astounding decrease in crime, and offensive behavior.
From this place, we each call home; we should take a look around and pick up any garbage that is floating around our residence. If we would clean up our own corners, there is a chance we may make a difference, in our communities. Encourage recycling. If we all try and do our part to clean up this planet, it will be a safer and healthier place for our children to live in.
I would plead to the powers of the world to reconsider war, and simple as this may seem, find another way to solve these problems. They possess some of the greatest intelligence in the world, please, find a better way.
I would ask all people of our world to be generous, with their time and their money. To share with others less fortunate, is the kindest act we can bestow on another person.
Laugh with one another. Encourage one another and inspire one another. We have to start somewhere; this seems as good a place as any. These things will bring hope and promise.
The truth is; I will never have fifteen minutes to speak to the world. For the most part, this is as close as I will come to sharing my hopes and dreams for a better world. As a challenge to those who take the time to read this, we have to start somewhere. Sharing goodness is a gift we can pass on, no matter how small it may seem.
We can make a difference. If each of us will attempt to show kindness; reach out to those in need, we can and will change the world.
