First Class Flurry takes flight into a sky of activity and excitement! The game eases you into your job as a first-class flight attendant, and as soon as you get the hang of it, you become immersed in an array of tasks that keep you running.
The creativity injected into the concept of this game is exceptional. Who could envision turning the daily duties of a stewardess into a fun and interactive video game? Well it's been done and the result is something I recommend you try.
First Class Flurry puts your hand-eye coordination to the test as well as your ability to multitask. The plane consists of about seven obnoxiously needy passengers. The requests of the passengers range from getting coffee, to pillows, to retrieving a wandering child and bringing her back to her seat. It sounds mundane and perhaps even boring, but trust me, this game requires some strategy and your undivided attention. You must decide in which order you will wait on the patrons depending on their patience level; which route you will take around the plane to most effectively utilize your time; and knowing how many people to wait on at one time. The flurry of orders coming your way leave no time for jet lag, but with some steady practice you start to see the turbulence subside.
You are allotted points for tasks completed dependent on several variables, and you are in a race against the clock. I became so engaged in trying to strategically manage my time and wait on every passenger that I actually think I became addicted for the hour I was playing. I even caught myself yelping with joy when I surpassed the third level, from London to Munich.
The game is very straightforward and easy to delve into. It would be a great game for a child a ten year old would be captivated for hours as well as entertaining for any adult.
The graphics are respectable; nothing crazy, but certainly good enough to keep the game exciting. The game is presented in an overhead view of the plane, which provides great ease to the user in terms of functionality. The background music is a bit generic but it fits the bill.
Overall, First Class Flurry seems like a safe buy for anyone who wants a little entertainment without the time-on-task that needs to be dedicated to learn some of the more complex video games out there. First Class Flurry is simple and fun and would certainly come in handy when trying to pass some downtime at work. I think it deserves a rating of 4 out of 5, which is good enough for me to buy it. If you decide to purchase it, get ready to run, and when the captain announces "preparing for landing" times almost up!
