A Woman's Heart
A woman's heart
Is a miraculous thing
A paradox of sorts
Bowed in shame
Broken with pain
Ofttimes filled with love
Of course
A woman's heart
Is a mystery
A roller coaster ride
Sometimes fragile
And opened wide
or closed up tight
Without one clue to
What's inside
A woman's heart can lead you
Into a marvelous place
A woman's heart
Can lift you
From physical time and space
A woman's heart
Can hold you
Keep you safe and warm
A woman's heart
Can satisfy
Fill you all night long
A woman's heart needs
To be loved
How can that be wrong?
A woman's heart
Can harbor
Bitter grief and pain
Anger; sadness
A woman's heart
Can shelter
Sorrow
As cold and wet as rain
And yet,
A woman's heart
Can be set free
Free in Jesus' name
A woman's heart
