THE WICKED WITCH OF TORNALEE

The wicked witch of Tornalee,
So filled with evil is she,
No love inside her can there be,
So is the story of the witch of Tornalee

Once so full of beauty and bliss,
Her fate was sealed with a murderous kiss,
For thy husband to be,
Was slain in front of thee.

The pure insidious shock,
Was none that could be mocked,
It tore the heart right from her chest,

And left her bitter and twisted at it's best.

Hateful revenge was on her mid,
No longer was she loving and kind,
For all of those who lived in the village,
She ran around and gloriously pillaged,
She screamed out to them her curse,
And there shalt be none that will be worse.

She flees to a hut that lies within tepid waters,
Plodding and planning her slaughters,
And mourning her beloved who is gone,
Roaring her revenge by tooth and bone.
For they shall pay,
For her overwhelming dismay.

The years pass by,
All she does is mutter and cry,
Her beauty has long ago faded,
She now has become jaded,
She's the wicked witch of Tornalee,
How much more evil can she be!

Upon the village she plundered,
Came a vile storm that thundered,
The anarchy she promised began to simulate,
There was no need to inaugurate,
As houses fell with the wind that howled,
"Thou shall be punished for the love thy take!" she growled.

Upon the hilltops she sat,
Cackling and glaring from under her black hat,
Applauding her miserly self with a pat on the back,
The ugly and shrewd old hack.

Day after day the curse swept down,
Until suddenly the witch started to frown.
Amongst the din of the frightening curse,
Kneeled a woman in front of a hearse,
Her face was twisted in pain,
As she screamed up at the witch in vain.

"Here me now, you wicked witch!
For you is surely an evil bitch!
By God, I curse when I get to thee,
By the time I'm done, you'll surely flee!"

The wicked witch of Tornalee,
No longer smiled with unsightly glee,
Simply torn once more,
By events done before.

The wicked witch stood from where she sat,
And took off her pointed black hat.
For the woman who shouted up at her,
Looked and sounded like Valdimher,
The beautiful woman once filled with bliss,
Who's fate was sealed with a murderous kiss,
The woman who became as evil as can be,
It was the witch from Tornalee.

The wicked witch looked up at the skies,
And prayed to the Lord she once despised,
"Take this curse from Tornalee,
And strike it down upon me!
I realize the ills of my evil deeds,
Oh, good Lord, take away their sufferance,
And give me my daily up commence!"

A hush fell upon the village of Tornalee,
And the Lord set the curse free,
The wicked witch came into no harm,
Even though the town regained it's charm,
She was only laden with a heavier burden,
For causing so much hurting.

Within her fetid hut the witch returned,
Riddled with her worst demons, her heart burned,
For there she lie forever more,
A lonely soulless core,
Forever known as a witch in future folklore,
The wicked witch of Tornalee.
