Zesty, zingy, full of life,
that's the battle the spirit fights.
Alone in a body designed for life
the spirit battles earthly strife.
Chosen before birth for this physical realm,
battles of nature completely overwhelm
the spirits quest for freedom and peace;
From gravities chains it seeks release.
Forbidden to fly it's natural flight,
it was sent to earth to learn physical life.
It remembers existence before the pain,
and pines for home yet once again.
