Poetry: Fear

by Claire Perez E

Created on: May 19, 2008   Last Updated: November 13, 2008

Fear is but limits to human
nature

Essential, inevitable
often

Remain its master
As long as possible
Tame it as one pleases
then breathe

Deeply each minute,
Hold out ones hand to the frightened eyes
That fear paralyzes

Fear nothing or everything,
Fear of the unknown, the inexplicable
Fear of death!

Live only ones nature,
Ones dreams without locking oneself
Into the straitjacket that are ones fears.
