In my opinion some relationships fail because some people are afraid of change and the unknown, What may be the future. The same way we sometimes allow ourselves to get in a rut. Usually someone in the relationship has shown some sign of wanting change. Now more than likely the request was ignored or unaccepted. This could have been something as simple as one's spouse asking, "Honey instead of staying in tonight we could go to the movies'. And the response could have been. "Oh honey tonight is Friday and we always stay in and watch television". Do you see what I am saying. To me we sometimes are afraid to grow, And we all know what happens to things that don't grow. They are usually dead. Just like some relationships.
Communication is also an important ingredient for a successful relationship, But we have to communicate honestly and openly about the feeling's we are having so our spouse is not confused. Men can sometimes be guilty of not expressing the way they feel and holding everything in until it's to late. While woman sometimes over communicate by saying how they feel about everything and coming across as the winer in the relationship. Sometimes it can be one's behavior that can end a relationship.
Taking for granted what you do for one another is also why relationships fail. Simple things like saying thank you. Or giving your spouse a kiss goodnight. Oh and the big one saying I love you, these are all things that when in a relationship we sometimes take for granted. But forgetting to do these things can eat away at your relationship until it is over.
Money can ruin your relationship. Either by having to little or having to much. You may not have enough money in the relationship and that could be why your relationship ended. You may have a lot of money and no time for a relationship which could be why your relationship ends.
Ultimately relationships are very complex and fragile, Much like the people in them. If we could treat others the way we want to be treated most relationships would last for eternity. I say that because really everyone wants the same thing to find someone to treat them the way the want to be treated. Somehow it's lost in translation.
In closing I have to say relationships end for a variety of reasons. But one thing we know is true about relationships and that is they require a lot of hard work, dedication, compromise, loyalty, & honesty. So if you are not willing to give all of you in a relationship, then it is probably better that you not get involved in one.
