What it takes to be an entrepreneur

Many people over time are continually told they cannot achieve the goals and dreams they want in their life and over time they start to believe it. The fact is we are all destined for greatness if we believe we can be great. I of course realized that I was not going to be a professional football player but I assumed I could until proven to me otherwise. This self-belief has lead to many successes in my life. It has also lead to many defeats and failures, but we learn more from those failures then we typically do from our successes. Successful people fail all the time. They get knocked down by life all the time but they also realize they only have to get up the last time! Remember, regret from action is always less than regret from inaction.

A healthy dose of skepticism and caution is always good but only as it serves you towards success. Once you allow it to control your decisions you are again setting yourself up for mediocrity. No one that has ever been hugely impactful in our society has done so by being overly cautious and doing what everyone else is doing. Moving with the masses leads you to exactly where everyone else is. Until you push past your comfort zone and your own limits you will never truly know what you are capable of.

We all have the same capacity for success. It is up to us to find our paths towards that success. Keep your eyes open and believe in yourself at times when it is the hardest to do so. Do things others are not willing to do. Do things when you don't feel like it. Walk through life with focus and purpose. Step outside your comfort zone and don't be afraid to stay there. The more consistently you push past your limits the more your limits expand. We have one shot at this life. Don't settle for mediocrity when through your consistency and persistency you can achieve the goals and dreams you have and achieve the greatness you deserve.
