Health benefits of cinnamon and honey

CHOLESTEROL-Drinking a mixture of two tablespoons of honey, three teaspoons of cinnamon powder, and 16 ounces of tea has been found to reduce cholesterol levels, often within just a few hours.

UPSET STOMACH-Honey and cinnamon powder have been found to alleviate stomach aches as well as relieve gas. Eating two tablespoons of honey sprinkled with cinnamon powder before a meal will help relieve acidity and aid digestion. Mixing equal parts of honey and cinnamon will relieve gas and stomach pain.

PIMPLES-Mix three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder into a paste and apply on pimples before sleeping, every evening for two weeks. Simply wash this mixture off in the morning with warm water.

SKIN INFECTIONS-Equal parts of honey and cinnamon powder mixed into a paste and applied to the skin; relieve irritations such as eczema and ringworm. Honey's medicinal properties help with healing and sterilizing wounds and encourage new skin growth. Bee pollen and propolis enzymes are in honey and work to sterilize wounds and aid in healing.

COLDS- Taking one tablespoon of luke warm honey with teaspoon cinnamon powder daily for 3 days will cures most chronic coughs, colds, and helps to clear sinuses.

WEIGHT LOSS-Boil one cup of water with honey and cinnamon mixed in and drink one half hour before breakfast on an empty stomach and at night before going to bed. This mixture keeps fat from accumulating in the body, even when eating a high calorie diet.

If you're looking for way to improve your health by eating healthier, consider adding honey and cinnamon to your diet. Alone or together, their benefits are only rivaled by their taste.
