Our eyes narrow and our hearts beat faster viewing this riveting image of Man's accomplishments: the stunning results of combining Man's ceaseless inventiveness in the tireless pursuit of his goals, propelled by his endless striving.
The next photograph appears on the screen: a battle scene in Iraq; the poignant red smeared body framed by the wreckage of someone's home and the armed form of the victorious soldier.

The ‘Human Condition'
The Human Condition' is actually multiples of ‘The Individual Condition' dynamically active within the world where economic development coupled with a comparatively sluggish growth in unconventional energy resources are the precursor of self-serving social collisions in the pursuit of fossil fuels; all the while genocides and starvation plague the un-developed.
The twenty-first century complexities of worldwide economic interdependence, mobility and communications present us with distinctive challenges regarding issues of right and wrong during an explosion of human contact, with the resulting frictions encompassing the earth and winding through all cultural diversities as the world's societies collide.
Human ideals of social perfection are illusions of imperfect minds and partisan claims of rightness' are no longer acceptable as intrinsically legitimate within these expanded and volatile conditions. A realistic expansion of twentieth century social perspective will encompass the realities of the twenty-first century: a World Community'.
While the dramatic results generated by societies, by groups of people, are the most spectacular those results are the sum of individual acts and decisions; it is the individual that is ultimately responsible for their society's acts, however mindful or mindless those acts might be.
When we as individuals match the external growth and change of our world with internal growth and change, the ‘Human Condition' will evolve in stride with us.
