Is God in control, or did He put Man in control on this planet? If God is in control {absolute control} then Man is nothing more than a marionette on strings playing a part in a farce to amuse a capricious and malicious deity. If God put Man in control on this planet then many puzzles begin to lose their mystery, and God may interact with Man as Man allows.
In over 50 years of life I've found that some things remain constant. "Things are not always as/what they appear", "There are none so blind as they who will not see", "The most consistent thing about Man is change, and the one thing that changes most in Man is consistency", and that it is dangerous to have/desire eyes that see, ears that hear, and a Heart to know. This list is not exhaustive, but suffices for the discussion at hand.
Things aren't always what they seem to be. Recently I read H.R. 1955 {Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Bill} and I honestly could not believe what I was reading. This bill establishes a commission to make determinations based on certain criteria outlined in the bill itself. This commission, if it follows the criteria set forth in the bill, would have no choice but to condemn virtually every person in the U.S. as a Homegrown Terrorist, guilty of Violent Radicalization, and capable of Ideologically Based Violence without any regard given to race, religion, or ethnicity. I could not believe what I was reading, but there it was in black and white. I should also point out that it passed the U.S. House of Representatives with 404 votes for the bill, 6 votes against, and 23 Representatives not voting at all. I wrote to my Representative, and to my two Senators, but as yet have received no reply from any of them. After waiting about a week, I started doing some digging to find out how such a bill could be introduced and passed by such a huge majority. Much of what I've found so far has made me see red, and the implications have frozen my blood in my veins. As always the real trick is to see what you're looking at, and though I can't see it all at this point, I am looking.
My digging led me to Corporations'. I've often wondered why the U.S. is officially written, "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" instead of just capitalizing the first letter as one would a name; and why my own name is printed in all caps instead of the more customary way of capitalizing only the initials in official govt. documents. Have you noticed how many "churches" do their own names in the same way? It seems
