The Candle~
Why does a candle
Produce so much heat?
And why is it hope
For a man on the street?
A candle is tiny,
And so is it's flame,
So much like a child,
But not quite the same.
A child is tiny,
but soon he will grow,
a candle get smaller,
Can die with one blow.
But both have a center,
Surprisingly warm,
Ignites those around it,
No matter their form.
It once took a candle,
To light a whole room,
It still takes a child,
To save earth from doom.
Although they will shine
They are looked at with doubt,
They are often discouraged,
But never blown out.
The child will grow,
And the candle will shrink,
but this one child's thoughts
Will soon make the world think.
