The baby shower has been stated by many sources to be oriented in the late eighteen hundreds and received it's name from the "showering" of love and gifts for the mommy to be. It stated out as a simple tea party, but you can try these great idea's.

BARBEQUE BABY SHOWER- Attach a pink or blue bubble gum cigars to a invitation that says "Holy Smokes! (parent's name and parent's name) is having a baby. Come for a roast of a good time. You can decorate cookbooks, or bibs that say "I cook for survival" or "Got Meat?" Anything that can cook on the grill will be great for this party and don't forget the white and red table cloth. When the guests leave give out some chocolate cigars or cigarettes and attach a note that says "Thanks for coming to the baby shower, We hope you had a smoking good time.

DIAPER BABY SHOWER- Create a diaper out of paper and write (parent's name and parent's name) is having a baby shower. We've got everything covered so don't be a stinker." Decorate cloth diapers with cute sayings like "This side down" or "Mommies present goes here." Put chocolate ice cream in a diaper and whoever eats it the fastest wins. Ply pin th diaper on the baby, it is just like pin the tail on the donkey. Decorate the house with toilet paper, fold napkins in th shape of diapers and put diapers on stuffed animals. Anything that is white or covered food is great for this party. Try marshmallows, white cake, pigs in a blanket, stuffed mushroom's, chicken pot pie e.t.c The best gifts to give out are wipes, diapers, air freshener's, had sanitizer, febreeze or oust.

ADOPTION BABY SHOWER- On the invitation write "A long and challenging journey has come to a end, Come celebrate the new one that is just to begin! You can decorate a scrapbook, Have a advice basket, play Adoption Trivia where you guess the baby's information like state, city, culture. You can decorate and eat foods from the babies city or state. When the guests leave hand out packets of sweet pea seeds and write "Thank you for nourishing the seeds of our friendship in our hearts"

TWIN BABY SHOWER- Cut out green invitation in the shape of double mint gum and write "We are doubly excited to invite you to double the fun of a twin baby shower. We hope you chews to spend the afternoon with us" and glue a piece of gum to the invitation. Don't forget to get 2 of everything and decorate the baby sower with the theme Noah's Ark.
