THE LOVELY SUNFLOWER
The little seed of black and white,
Tended lovingly day and night.
Days go past and still no sign,
Water and sun, the weathers been fine.
Then after a week a bit of green,
Oh I must say the best sight that I've seen.
It takes so long as weeks go past,
But now I see, a bud at last.
The petals appear as green gives way,
And here it is, the special day.
Bright and tall and oh so yellow,
I've waited so long to see this fellow.
And in my garden like a tower,
I have a lovely Sunflower.
