Pretend it is comfortable.
think of the prize,
if you ignore the obvious.
and keep telling lies.
The reward being sanity,
imagine it all.
The assemblance of normal,
before a big fall...
Fake the smile,
and show up for life,
while your head is open,
thoughts turn to strife.
Cast a shadow,
dark on the earth,
the blackness embodied,
that is felt since birth.
Look in the mirror,
the demons survive,
only you can see them,
and they'll eat you alive.
