There are many successful methods of spreading the word about Helium and all of these help the site and also help you, as a member, to make the most of the site. This article explores the different methods and sets out the benefits of these methods of spreading the word, both to you as a writer and to Helium as a website. All of these are useful ways to the writer, since they increase the possibility of income, and to Helium because every person that you network with is a possible new writer.

NETWORKING

Networking isn't as complex as it sounds. Many member belong to forums and sites where different aspects of life are discussed and once in a while another writer that answers with passion on subjects could just be that ideal new member on a site like Helium. Helium want writers who are able to share their beliefs, knowledge and passion on all kinds of subjects. Dropping little comments into threads about having read something on Helium, or even adding your Helium link to your forum signature can really get interest going.

You also have access to private messages on many of these sites, and while this may be construed as spamming if you try to invite too many people, take your time to make friends, and if they show an interest in Helium, do invite them through private messages, telling them the benefits of the site and guiding them in their first steps towards success on Helium, being aware that Helium may seem very complex to them, and explaining how to do site searches to find areas of interest. This helps enormously as the more they write, the more you earn.

Email.

Email is a great way of spreading the word, and on the front page of Helium there is a little mention at the bottom of the site that says LINKS. Pressing this takes you into an area where you can choose the logo you wish to use, and this is easy to upload into your email account and to have as a signature. If using this in Yahoo, you simply go into settings, paste over the link as shown on the Helium page, and press ALLOW IMAGES and like magic, that little logo appears in all your emails and takes readers of your emails into your profile, increasing the chances of your articles being read, but also increasing the chances of more members joining.

Inviting Friends.

Inviting friends who are curious about writing on-line is a great idea, though of little advantage if they never write. Encourage them and help them to start their writing, as until they do write,
