Poetry: High school

by Jeffrey Bowman

Created on: May 18, 2008

A Day At School
The crowded halls, the pushing and shoving of horseplay, the homecoming queen
A Day At School
The smell of food from the cafeteria, burnt cake from home economics, the sweaty locker room
A Day At School
The sound of mixing voices, a teacher yelling at some student, slamming lockers
A Day At School
Bruised arms from bumping into someone, hard wooden desks, cramped fingers from writing
A Day At School
The taste of cold french fries, the cold drinks during breaks, taste of gum in your mouth
A Day At School
