seven o'clock, three hours of fun
my friends are all here, the party's begun
we laugh and joke, and share our lives
bring out the tissues, to dry the eyes
oh how i wish, it would never end
life's so enjoyable, when shared by a friend
some have powers, some kick butt
some just sit, and fill their gut
they all take turns, coming in shifts
thirty minutes to an hour, my heart they do lift
ten o'clock, the screen gets dim
TV's off, the party must end
but no worries here, they'll all be back
at seven tomorrow, they'll pick up the slack
