I do not cry nor shall I yield,
for any man that strikes at me.
My heart is in the killing field,
my mind has lost all sanity.
No longer can I weep for life,
as I imagined in my youth.
Upon my skin I press this knife,
intent am I to see the truth.
I shall not wail at ties that bind,
my soul's untethered anyway.
Nor am I to abuse, resigned...
I'll live to fight another day!
