Take a breath.
Take a step.
Take a chance.
They say it all.
Do we give,
More than we take,
Just like we should?
Of course we don't!
Humanity drains,
Controls,
Wants,
And desires!
Yet in the midsts of it all,
Stands what we once were.
Loving,
Kind,
Understanding,
And compassionate!
Some still are.
But others still,
Lie,
Cheat,
Steal,
And break.
They know it's wrong,
But do they care?
Who knows?
Only them.
