This is a twist on deviled crab: (I relieve my self of responsibility of an heart attacks caused by consuming this)
(feeds 16 skinny people or 4 fat people :) )
2 lb fresh crab meat
1 1/2 lb cream cheese
1/2 cup 2% milk (you want any type of thin milk)
2 Tbs fresh crushed garlic
1 Tbs pepper
1 tsp sea salt
8 Lg zucchini (halved long way and seeded)
1 Lb cooked bacon
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Juice from 1 lime
Paprika
If you made it to this point, good for you. In a large bowl, combine the crab, garlic, pepper, salt, mustard, lime juice and half the bacon. Let this sit for about 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Be sure that you mixed this well. As you rest your filling, this is a good time to put the cream cheese and milk in the food processor, and let them meld. You want the creamed mixture to be fairly thin, but thick enough that it doesn't drip off a spoon
Combine your creamed mixture in the bowl of "meat" gently fold them together until well incorporated. Generously fill you zucchinis which have been cut in half a scooped with a spoon, with the filling. lightly dust with paprika and pile on the bacon!
Bake at 300 for about 45 minutes, or until the zucchini is fork tender.
Garnish with a little fresh dill and Enjoy!
