An Internet Addiction
People can become obsessed with the internet without being intoxicated. The Internet has a wealth of information and it is very reliable for communication as well. Every day people sit in their chairs and ready to use the computer to surf the internet for hour and hours. Without their knowledge, this can be dangerous and they may find that denial of this being a problem can in itself lead to isolations in their life.
I'll admit that I am one of those people; I tend to tell myself that the only source I can use is the Internet to keep me company. However, I made the changes and I decided to take care of myself and my health. I made a timeline for my homework assignments and schedules so I can keep myself busy and away from the Internet for some days. I try to do some activities that does not include internet, like exercising, being with my family and taking care of some house work.
