Where am I,that I can not hide? Here I stand with no one by my side.
With every step I've made it appears I never can catch up to the parade.
What have I done, to be standing here with no one? Why does everything around
me,look unfamiliar to my eyes?I did what I was told, made moves that were bold,
and I got the gold.Perhaps the gold blinded me,want more, need more, must get
more.
Passed so many, had no time for anyone, now all around me appears to be gone.I must figure
out what I did wrong, and just where is it that I have gone.I need to find my way back, to
when my surroundings and I were one.I'm not sure, since everything is so obscure, and my life
has become a bit impure.I have paid the cost,to have this feeling of lost.
