One of the best parts of pregnancy is having a baby shower. This is a time where the expectant mother's friends and family can get together and give gifts and play games. It is a great time to spend time with the new mother before she is consumed with being a new mom, and too busy to even brush her hair.
In this article, there will be many examples on how to throw a baby shower, and not spend a lot of money. with the way prices are these days, people need a reason to go thrifty. Baby Shower Theme

A theme to any party is important, especially for a baby shower. Depending on if the baby is a boy or girl, you may want to choose certain colors. Or, if the sex is unknown, you can use neutral colors. First, what you need to do is figure out where you want to throw the shower. The cheapest way to go is to do it in your own home, rather than rent a hall, which can be quite expensive.
Some moms-to-be like to have themes based on the sex of the baby. If it is a boy, the theme can be trains, baseball, or trucks. Or it can even be just colors that people associate with little boys, such as the color blue. Themes for a girl can be dresses, flowers, or pink baby bottles. Or you can go simple and just use the color pink. The mother may want to base the theme of the baby shower on the ideas that she has for the nursery. An example being if she has things for the baby that are a certain style, such as teddy bears, she may want to use that too.

Invitations

The only way to get people to come to a baby shower is to send invitations! There are thousands of examples for invitation ideas, but I will only give one example. On the front of the invitation there can be a picture of a baby or something symbolizing a baby, such as a stork.
The color can be neutral such as white.
On the inside of the invitation, it is important to write the name of the person having the shower, whether it is a girl or boy (if known), the address where the shower will be held, R.S.V.P., and the date and time. Also inside of the invitation a gift registry may be used inside of it to let people know what to get. Another popular idea is to attach a candy cigar, either blue or pink, so people will know that sex of
