Why is the Xbox 360 so great?

In 2001, Microsoft shocked the gaming world with their release of the Xbox. It's out-of-nowhere release came straight into rivalry with the Playstation 2 and the Nintendo Gamecube. It pretty much destroyed these consoles in their paths with it's release of titles such as Halo and Amped which had gamers glued to their seats. Gamers around the world soon began to favor the Xbox for its unique console capabilities, and Microsoft wasted no time in launching their weapon into the next generation console wars with the Xbox 360. Launched in 2005 - much before any other next-gen console - it never failed to impress anyone who has owns one. The early days of the 360 we saw games such as Perfect Dark: Zero and Project Gotham Racing 3 hit the charts and since then it's been nothing but success. Even though the 360 was released well before any next-gen console, it has no trouble in contending with them after 3 years of being released. But what is it that makes this console such a success? The games of course! So please join me in my countdown of the top 10 xbox 360 games from 2005- present day.

The story to this game wasn't all that thrilling and the weapons were nothing to get excited about but this game was just one that paved the way for the future games to come and people still play on this today.

9. Call of Duty 2

In no time, Activision and Infinity Ward had their WW2 classic go straight to next-gen with this stunning sequel which is even better than its successor, Call of Duty 3. The gameplay for this is superb and has the graphics to back it up. This game allows players to relive some of the most compelling battles of WW2 along with others created especially for the game. It's a definite must have classic and you need to be mad to not have this in your game collection.

8. Dead Rising

This game is perfect in every way but it's just not everybody's cup of tea, God knows why?! What can be more entertaining than running around the mall smashing up zombies with bins and whatever else you can get your hands on. Capcom sure did a good job in creating this survival horror game by adding
