Welcome to Mammoth Lakes, California. We are so thrilled you came to visit with us! Mammoth Lakes has many attractions for the whole family to enjoy. You'll love the view as you feast your eyes on the wonder of the Sierra Mountain terrain. Both kids and parents alike will love the adventure of skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling at Mammoth Mountain Resort.

Let's give the family a vacation full of variety. Oh you don't have to worry; there will be plenty of time to travel surrounding national parks, monuments, and golf courses here at Mammoth Lakes. There are also theaters to catch a flick, dramatic arts featuring your favorite on stage performances, but first you won't want to miss out on these popular tourist destinations. Here is my top six count down of local hot spots:

"Top 6 Count Down":
6. Mammoth Lakes Art Center- they offer general and student admission. Reservations are accepted.

5. Bellondonna Massage and Day Spa- Ladies first please! They offer the works: manicure and pedicure, facials, massage, Jacuzzi, and if that wasn't enough, they'll even come to you! There is plenty of time to hang out as a family, but the women must look and feel their best! There is plenty of shopping to do next.

4. Mammoth's Luxury Outlets- All right ladies, you had the facial, the message, now let's get shopping to complete the revived you! The best brands for the best prices.

3. Java Joint, Looney Bean, & Garden House Coffee (just to name a few) - For an afternoon pick me up, that screams for caffeine, escape for a moment to the local coffee houses.

2. Mammoth Ski Museum- For the history buff, and the snow bunnies, you'll love the art and literature at Mammoth's very own museum. This place features the history of Mammoth with its grand skiing, snowboarding, and the overall experience of how Mammoth made the map. No one can complain at $5 an adult ($3 per child), and college students get in free with ID. Don't miss the view!

1. Sierra Interactive Center& Cafe- For the thrill of a lifetime, come to lunch at this spectacular scenic view with meals prepared daily! Admission is free with a scenic 15 minute gondola ride to the point of the Sierra Mountain. Learn the cultural history, geology, and weather patterns all during lunch. What a bargain! Adult tickets are $18 and kids are free (youth 13-18 are $14 per ticket).

Mammoth Lakes is a great place to be. You'll remember this vacation for a lifetime, and the kids won't forget it either!
