Credit cards are for anyone who knows to budget financial needs. You can be young or teenagers but if you are good in managing your money then why not get your own credit cards.Well, do you have jobs to support or finance your credit card charges?
The issue is not who is allowed to have or not to have a credit cards but how well you can manage your finances without getting buried in debt. There are many adults who are struggling to pay off their debt and keep charging their credit cards without thinking to pay it off or cash to pay it off.

In another word, credit card is for any person or consumers who can do good in money savings.Sometimes, you really need a good job to keep going with your financial needs but if you have a little income and knows how to budget your salary then I think that would be enough to get credit cards.

It is good for the teenagers to learn early about credit cards and be able to adjust the financial problems in having credit cards.Even if you have no knowledge about spending and charging the credit card, you can still read the instructions about the fees and other associated charges with your credit cards.

If you start early in failing or mishandling your finances then you have more chances to correct it in the future and your family can help you in the right path of your finances.

If you are good in saving money even if your parents gives you a little every birthday party then I cannot see why not allow these kids to have credit cards of their own.It really depends on the person ,if you see that your kid is wasting money maybe you need to educate him more about finances.

The parents are the only persons who can tell if their kids or children or teens are ready to have their own credit cards. If your kids won't listen to you when you give them reminders about spending then you might wait more years to allow them to get credit cards on their own.

Give your kids some money and tell them ,they can spend whatever they want from it.And start observing their spending habits. Some kids will love to save money in their piggy bank but some are running to the store to spend all the money you just give.

Whatever your kids are capable of doing or spending then you are the only person knows about it.Parents should pay attention to their kids about money matters and they should be able to tell if their kids are good in saving money especially charging in credit cards.

Try to send your teens inside the store while you are waiting in your car and do not tell what items she/he needs to buy.You will find out if your kid is good in money if she/he will come back just few items with her/his hands.

Give $20 dollars to your young kids and see how long that money will disappear in his/her hands. Some kids do not buy anything from the stores they prepare to save their gift in their box but some the money cannot sleep with their fingers without spending it for anything that they do not even need.

So for teens to have a credit card of their own is good test to their ability in handling money.Every time something screwed up then parents will guide them what to do.That way you are teaching your kids to spend in the right way.But the problems if your parents have difficulties in managing their own finances.

More problems for the teens about handling credit cards if the parents cannot guide them in the right direction in their financial future.
