Most video games out there these days contain violence, nudity, and slang language, and most are being played by young children today.I know your younger children are playing theses games right now in your home , or with a friend right now with, or without you knowing. The reason being is you simply don't see how these games will affect your children's lives, You simply don't know, and because you don't understand how to read the ratings on the back of the video game covers and boxes.

Well, For those of you who simply don't see how these games affect your children's lives, Shame to you all. For those of you who don't know, shame on you as well. If your young one's are being shown violence at an early stage in life, they begin to use what they learn to attract attention to themselves, or for simply handling a difficult situation.

However, It doesn't matter what level of violence they are seeing and hearing in their environment, it affects their young minds to grow in a positive way. The more violence your children are exposed to in any form, the more its going to affect their minds and life in a negative way. So, Stop letting your children watch and play those violent videos, and help them grow into a positive human being.

Now, For those of you who simply don't know how to read video and game ratings, learn how. There's no excuse. Its actually quite simple. I will break it down for you right now, and right here. There should be no reason for them to be playing and watching violent video games that are not age appropriate for them.

Heres how you read ratings!

Flip over your video cover box, and check for these marks:

NC= NC means NO ONE 17 AND UNDER can watch!

G= G means GENERAL AUDIENCE, anyone can watch!

PG13= This means anyone above the age of 13 can watch and play, but STRONGLY CAUTION!

R= R means RESTRICTED and only for ages above 17.

PG= PG mean PARENTAL GUIDANCE, young ones may get scared.

RP = This means that the video or game has not been given a rating, and is a PENDING RATING.

M = M means for MATURE ONLY adults!

E10+ = Everyone above the age of 10 can play and watch the video, or game.

T= It means it is TEENAGER and ADULT appropriate.

AO= This one means anyone above the age of 18 can play, and other words, ADULT ONLY!

E= E means its safe for EVERYONE to play and watch!

EC= EC means EARLY CHILDHOOD, and that any child above the age of 3 can play.

SO, You have just been taught how to read each rating on the back of every video and game out there. As long as you know these ratings you will know what each video and game means. You will know what your child should be playing and watching, and what they shouldn't be. You have the control to feed their young minds with negative information, or the ability to fill their minds with positive thoughts that have positive outcomes. SO, Lets start being aware of what your children are putting into there young minds. Take control parents! Help your children have a happy environment free of violence, nudity, and slang language!
