Yes, I do feel like Celebrities are making a negative impact on society, and in my article I will give you the two best reasons why they do. The first reason, is because society often is looking for a role model. They want the actors and actresses to be good citizens that never do anything out of that perfect little moral box, that society has set up for them. This question is similar to when a parent is making plans for their child to be a lawyer, but when the child gets to be of age, decides that he wants to work at a casino. What am I saying? Well, I'm saying that society has plans for these celebrities, and the plan is to make them these great role models. However, many of these celebrities, Especially the young ones, have no idea about the plans that society has made for them. For example, We expect the celebrity to act like respectable women and men. However, the flip side of this, is that many times the nice guy never gets the girl, and the good girl on television, may not be what society wants to see.

My second reason, is that society has placed the celebrity's in what I'd like to call, a moral box. And in this Moral box, the celebrity can't use profanity in public, can't cheat on their wives or husbands, must wear under clothes at all times, can't do drugs, can't have a baby out of wedlock, commit murder, can't lie, steal, abuse their wives, and so on. I think you get what I'm trying to say. Society wants perfection, but the celebrity is rebelling against all of these plans that society has for their life. Some people look up to celebrities, and have in some ways, made them Heavenly Angels. But the harsh truth of it is, that a rich celebrity, can Act in a movie today, and four moths later, can be hooked on drugs. Or, they can walk into a clothing store, and steal a couple pairs of jeans. At that point, society will judge the celebrity, and say that she is a bad role model for young girls, and she should be ashamed of herself.

My point is that just because somebody is an actor does not make them any better then you, they just have more money then you. However, what society is witnessing is that money does not buy class. Furthermore, in this world, what you show somebody, is what they see. For example, if you show me that you like to get drunk, and do drugs, then that is the negative spirit, that I'll receive from you. I think that celebrities are so busy trying too win the most popular contest, that they're forgetting that the Fans are what got them to the top, and I don't care how rich they are, they need to humble themselves.
