Poetry: Enlightenment

The human soul is made for light,
while in the dark we fear,
The dangers of approaching night,
invade our hearts so clear!

Is there a Hope that we can see,
that often we have not?
And can the Source be trustworthy,
where Truth is really taught?

There are so many "Points of Light,"
in this dark world today,
A light or two may pierce the night,
and show the upward way!

Enlightenment in One I'll find,
His Word I'd fully know,
For it is still the Path so kind,
that helps me greater grow!

"Thy Word, a Lamp unto my feet,
a Light unto my Path!"
The Light of Day I'll aye repeat,
Forever I shall laugh! :)
