Someday soon I'll find my way,
through the darkness and into the sun.
Out of the shadows I'll cast away, all of the sorrow, I've lost my way.
Show me the path, the right way to go,
give me direction, take my hand,
lead me back to thoughts of good and kind, give me back my piece of mind.
I've lost my way, somehow I travelled this road of pain,I need your hand,
please take mine and take me back to times of kind.
Where a smile was genuine, meant and true,
a tear was shed of happiness and laughter I can find.
I'm lost so very lost and the world so big and lonesome,
A kind word not uttered and smiles hidden from my eyes,
take my hand oh god please take it, and help me,
I am but a child of 20 and cannot find my way.
