American Pit Bull can range in weight from sixty to one hundred and ten pounds. The extra large hundred to hundred ten pound dogs tend to be a little more rare. My red female weighed in at just over one hundred pounds, while in her prime. These dogs are muscle bound hulks. The American Pit Bull comes from an indisputable history of pit-fighting. The tenacity and accompanying strength of this breed are unmatched in the canine world.
Regardless of which of these Pit Bull breeds you may choose, training and exercise on a daily basis is an absolute must. All Bulls are loyal and demand attention. They should never be left chained alone. They make wonderful house dogs. Pit Bulls are always eager to do their masters bidding.
