The most magical Christmas I ever experienced was spent with my family at Disney World.I truly suggest if you have the time and the means you should check it out for yourself! Best of all you do not have to be a millionaire to have a really good time.
My husband, son and I went on a budget of $2500.00 and had the best time.It all depends on you how you get there. We opted for a road trip driving from NY to Florida I wouldn't do it any other way.I found all reservations on line from car rental to accommodation.I got the best rates by planning early and making all my reservations in September.A rental car for seven days and accommodation for four nights and five days at a 4 star hotel it cost us $450.00.We had plenty left over for food, gas, tickets and fun activities.
Once we finally got there we were a little overwhelmed from the drive but the hotel was beautiful and we were running on adrenaline. It was two days before Christmas so we decided since we would be there for five days we could check out four parks at Disney. We went to MGM Studios the first day.It is very action packed and my son loved it.Many rides were set up ages young and old.And the excitement of the Christmas spirit was in the air.The next day was Christmas eve we went to Epcot which was a delightful experience for all of us.They have great rides awesome food from all over the world and each nationality has it's own individual section. The experience is grand you can be at an Italian Christmas sampling food and wine or you can go to Germany and have a buffet style dinner and get some great German desserts. The light show and fireworks are wonderful too.On Christmas we went to the Magic Kingdom it took my breath away.We chose to take the monorail over to the Kingdom and we would take the ferry boat back at night. When we arrived there was Christmas music playing and a parade was taking place in the middle of town square. It is really hard to do everything in one day so I would look over the pamphlet given to you upon entrance and just pick and chose as you go.You have to check out the light parade at night. They have certain restaurants that you can eat with the characters you will need reservations though. The fireworks at night light up the sky and you feel just like a kid again. The streets are lit up with Christmas trees and decorations. And in town square glistening snow is falling. Our last day there we were all tired we ended up staying at the Magic Kingdom till midnight the night before. We headed to the Animal Kingdom and it was very relaxing. And was also very unique like all the parks at Disney World.
We still talk about our vacation today and the memories are just as rewarding as the trip.I really can't express in words how magical and romantic
Disney World is at Christmas time. And I can not list the endless things to do there. But I promise you will not be disappointed.
