I will not let my past dictate my future.
I will choose to carve my own name in history.

I will not be influenced by negative people.
I will choose to live and reflect positively.

I will not allow race or color to cloud my judgment.
I will choose to live in accord with all people.

I will not burn any bridges before I walk on them.

I will not allow greed to impact my life decisions.
I choose to be content without envy for what I don't have.

I will not lust after another man nor yearn for him.
I choose to honor my vows to my husband and be blissful.

I will not allow the gray sky to turn me blue.
I choose to dance in the rain long after the sun is gone.

I will not bury my sorrows in a hollow glass.
I choose to admit my problems and deal with my anguish.

I will not stand in the middle of the river and be washed away.
I choose to stand up for what I'm passionate about and believe.
