Foolish Blind Faith
I trusted you,
Blindly I followed you,
Hung on your every word,
Propped you up on a grand pedestal,
That is until the great deception.
This deed that you did
Ripped me up inside.
I looked to confide with someone and was denied any satisfaction.
The bottle would provide safe haven,
'Til that heavenly confidant turned nasty and left me
Feeling betrayed and insecure.
