No, I do not think it is. Global warming is mainly the reason of an upset in the carbon cycle. Let us look at what we do that affect the environment:

Drive Fuel-Runned Cars that emit Carbon gases:

Almost every mediocre family on Earth now owns a fuel runned car which emits Carbon gases. These Carbon gases upset the carbon cycle and trap even more amount of heat energy.

Many governments are working on encouraging the citizens to switch to hybrid cars or public transport. But lets face it, would you rather sit in your car and enjoy your time alone or be squished between sweaty passengers.

Increase population:

The major concern of many envronmentalists. An increase in population leads to an increased usage of cars and of fossil fuels. Not only that but it also increases traffic which means that cars keep running even more then they are supposed to. Increased population also leads to deforestation.

Deforestation:

Deforestation is the act of cutting down forests and is the major source of global warming. It is mainly due to urbanisation and agriculture.

URBANISATION

When the human population increases so does the demand of living. We are faced with an increased demand of land and a shortage of supply. To meet the demand the governments often expands the area of its major cities, to do this they cut down nearby forests which causes an increased unbalance in the carbon cycle.

Agriculture:

When the human population increases so does the need of food. TO meet the need the farmers have to expand thier land to do this they also have to perform the act of deforestation.

Another major concern that I would like to introduce to you is the idea that if global warming reaches its climax it will increase even more.

Many people claim that humans would be able to survive the affects of global warming with our technology.

When global warming will occur temperatures would reach extreme tempratures. To face those temperatures man would have to build huge sensor controlled dome like structures. By the time we do reach the climax our population would have increased by four times. But lets assume that we are able to save atleast 4 billion people on the earth. In the domes we might be able to save animals by keeping atleast one pair of each species and the plants. Even though the sympathetic opinion is towards animals, we must acknowledge that plants are the source of food and the producers in all food chains. We must also acknowledge that saving the plants does not help that much but keeping their population is high is what matters.

If we do not keep the population high we will be faced with even larger global warming and once the climax is over the 4 billion population and even less plants would increase global warming even more ( Plants and trees are the only organisms which remove Carbon gases from the atmosphere in eligible quantities.) So what do we do?

To keep the plants at their normal population we would have to build huge domes over them too, but most trees and plants are present in the forests which are located in areas where it would take years to actually built the structure. Then we are faced the problem. Plants and trees need to disperse. If they do not they become concentrated in one area and in the end start dying to the competition of food.

Even if we want to atleast live when global warming reaches its climax we MUST build structures like those over cities, farms and tropical forests.
