A guide to effective leadership

How To Become A Leader

Leaders are in such a position because they have built a business or a system that makes them money. When you find yourself in this situation, you can immediately set into motion and test when you learn a skill or brainstorm your own new ideas that you can immediately benefit from in massive ways.

Most people are not in this situation because they don't have much cash flow, or don't have a strong business and client base they can implement with.

How To Be A Leader When Your Still Learning

When you don't possess an asset (a profitable blog, a business, productive networking connections) of your own, it is difficult to test ideas and it's ideas that make people into leaders. Without an asset you don't have proof of concept, you might still have good ideas, but without proof of concept you can't get on stage and show people how much money you are making or helping others make, using your ideas.

If your starting to think it sounds a bit like a catch 22 situation for the newbie on line marketer, no fear, it need not be that way. There are many ways to build a business using the support, idea's and systems of others.

To become a leader you need ideas, but these need not necessarily be your own ideas. Then you need a means to experience the result of putting ideas into action. It's from your experience and your ability to help others by sharing that experience, that leadership is born.

What Do You Do When You've Just Started And You Are Not An Authority On Anything?

I read some great advice on a blog that I love that I want to pass on to you. It solves the problem of what to do if you don't feel you know enough yet to present yourself as an authority in your industry. When you can not be the authority, you become a reporter and student. In reality, most authorities are reporters and students as well.

If you are a reporter/student, you study the ideas of other people - the authorities - and digest their ideas, add you own individual style and implement them. As you implement idea's and strategies you learn and gain experience, you then take your results and convert them into new ideas or present the expert's ideas using your own voice. By relaying your own experience other people learn from you and you begin to build your own authority. It is through education, then action, filtering a little repackaging, that most authorities master their craft.

Even the experts had to start somewhere and build their business. It is no different for anyone who starts an on-line home based business.
