If I could, little one,
I would enfold you with sunshine
If I could
I would create joy in a cup
and fill you up
every morning
If I could
I would never let you fall
I'd give you all

If I could
I would hold on to your hand forever
If I could
I would lift you up
high into the clouds
so you can see the world
without experiencing pain
If I could
I would let you hear only music
sung by angels
If I could
I would.
