Poetry: Walking with God

by Corey Holland

Created on: May 15, 2008

He lays the words all out,
Made perfectly for me,
I just write them down,
For all the world To see.

I write it all in verse,
I write it all in lines,
What could be worse? ,
Then having no rhyme.

No rhyme or reason,
That I do the things I do,
I live my life by season,
Writing poems down for you.

I only have one life to live,
So I live this life to write,
God only had one son to give,
He traded him for my life.

These words that flow,
Gently through my hands,
It represents my soul,
And God's awesome plan.

I'm starting to see,
Through open eyes,
What I can be,
With God by my side.

He gives me my song,
He gives me my power,
I can never go wrong,
Cause I check in every hour.

With the man up stairs,
The master from above,
The one that fills us,
With mercy and love.

He's the one that gave,
My song to me,
So my life for him I'll live,
For all of eternity........................
