Ever heard "The bigger, the better?" Personally, I think it's better to have a
large group of friends. Of course, this decision has its disadvantages and advantages
just like any other option. Wouldn't you want more variety than having the same thing
everyday? It would eventually get old and boring. Friends are an example of this.
Having a large group of friends provide you with a greater opportunity of having a
truthful friend to fall on just in case one friend turns out to be a not-so-good one.
When one friend makes you upset, you won't be stuck on the one friend; instead you have
more friends to talk to. One lost friend out of a hundred wouldn't make a big difference as
with one lost friend out of ten.
More friends equals more people which equals more experiences and outlooks. All people
have different perceptions and ways of life. By having a variety of friends, you can get
a sense of what life is like and what people in life are about. You learn peoples' ways
and this will help you be more cautious in life. Without these people, it would take
longer to learn a lesson. Also you wouldn't get bored with a large group of friends. People
change constantly so you would have more interest in hanging with many people than just
one main person.
More friends also equals more opportunities. The probability of you succeeding in your
dreams can depend on the people you know; the more, the better. One person would affect you with a small group of friends. If you are mad at one or two friends, you have a million more
to talk to. If you don't talk to someone, they could think you have something against them or just don't like them. This could cause
this person to dislike you also. Say ten years later, this person is manager of a job
you want really bad. When you ask, this person is going to think of the past, and how
you treated them.
Having a large group of friends isn't wrong or right. I mean it's whoevers' decision and their decision should fit them, regardless. More friends are funnier and you will never get bored. If you do, you get more friends to make your range bigger. It extends and extends with
no limit. This way, you will not have just one side to your personality. Instead you'll have a multi-personality-fun, serious, caring, outgoing, and wild- all in one. This is much better than being just boring or caring. See what I mean now?
