THE SIDE DO
The side do has been a very popular style this year. Typically this style looks great with a side swept fringe. To achieve a side do with a side swept fringe please read the following instructions.
You will need:
-A hair tie that matches your hair color as close as possible. They come in different blonde, brown, red and black shades.
-A blow-dryer
-Sectioning clips
-A flat iron or curling iron (if you want to give your style some extra direction)
-Shine spray (if you can get one with a little hold this will also help your hair stay in place)
-Some bobby pins that match your hair tone. These also come in variations suited for light through to dark hair.
Instructions:
1. Blow-dry your hair in sections so that it is smooth.
2. Now pay particular attention to your fringe or section off a section of hair to sweep to the side if you don't have any bangs. You want to part your hair to the side and go back twice as far as you would for a normal fringe. Blow-dry this hair forwards and to the side so that it is sweeping low over one eye. Spray your brush with shine spray and brush this section in the right direction a few times.
3. Now secure your hair to one side with the hair tie that matches your hair color.
4. If you want to leave the style in a ponytail, simply take a strand of hair and wrap it around the hair tie to cover then pin in place. You can then straighten or curl your hair depending on what look you desire. Alternatively you can pin your hair into a low bun. They key to this style is to keep the ponytail low and a little loose. You don't want a style that sticks out above your ear.
