The facts surrounding global warming paint a startling picture of our future and a number of scientists maintain that unless immediate action is taken to combat it, we could find ourselves locked in an irreversible cycle. As a result, heat-related deaths would greatly increase. Hurricanes and storm surges would be much more intense, inundating coastal regions causing insect infestation which is a breeding ground for disease.
It is difficult to understand why some people refuse to acknowledge the radical change in weather patterns which all regions have experienced. Apparently, they are so dead set against global warming that they refuse to believe what they can see with their own eyes.
Climate Gate has caused a number of people to believe that global warming isn't happening but this just isn't true. According to Grandia, “The folder of information contains over 3,800 separate files and it is clear that someone has taken a lot of time to pull together what they thought would be the most damaging. This is not the work of a hacker, unless that hacker is extremely well-versed in climate science, and specifically the conspiracy theories of the climate denial movement.”
While the cause of global warming may be debatable, the fact remains that the planet is certainly reacting to something. Some believe the galactic alignment, which is predicted to be complete by 2012, has something to do with the heating of our planet because other planets are experiencing global warming as well.
For the last few years the planet itself has been in a state of unrest. Earthquakes are not only increasing, they are becoming more intense. China and Egypt have lost thousands of lives due to earthquakes, not to mention the earthquake that hit Haiti which killed more than 200,000 people. Cyclones, tsunamis and other climate related catastrophes have also increased.
During the winter months, Michigan experienced high winds like never before. Florida experienced the coldest temperatures in decades. Water pipes actually froze all around the Tampa bay area which never happens. Not long ago, Georgia had a late freeze which was so severe that all the blossoms fell off the peach trees forcing growers to apply for government help. These are cold hard facts that we can't deny.
In the bible, Jesus Christ talked about a future time that sounds a lot like what we're experiencing today. "Nation shall rise against nation... and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers
